As Europe’s largest roaming platform, Hubject relies on Gridware as a powerful operator platform – and uses our CPMS itself as a client. Although Hubject does not operate any charging infrastructure itself, the company certifies charging station and vehicle manufacturers worldwide for the implementation of ISO-15118 Plug & Charge – also directly via our system.
We presented this innovative solution to the public for the first time at the ICNC in 2022.
Since then, we have continuously expanded Plug & Charge support – with functions such as sub-client capability and support for multiple PKI roots. In 2025, we are setting new standards: as a project partner within the framework of ISO-15118-20, we are driving further development with NEVERFLAT through AI-supported research and development in Germany.
As Europe's largest roaming platform, we work with numerous partners from the industry. What we appreciate about Grid&Co. as an R&D partner is the short distances and the shared desire to tease out the best charging experience for EV drivers from a complex infrastructure.
