We come from the CPO world and know the requirements first-hand. But sooner or later, almost every CPO also becomes an EMP. That’s why Gridware now combines both roles in one system.
When we say EMP, we mean “electric mobility provider”. Sometimes also called eMSP for Electric Mobility Service Provider or, in more recent specifications, “Mobility Operator”.
Internal roaming
Internal roaming is always interesting when a client has many sub-clients and these in turn are active in both the CPO and EMP roles. The mutual business models can be mapped in Gridware.
Direct roaming means: CPO and EMP connect directly – without a hub. Ideal if two CPMS want to roam with each other. Of course, this can also be two Gridware clients, each with its own system.
Gridware supports the OCPI standard for this.
Marketing of own charging points
Gridware can be used to publish master data and the real-time status of charging points – for example for Google Maps, Apple Maps or partner services.
Internal systems can also be seamlessly connected.
